Egg Drop Vegas

Join us for the third annual Easter Egg Drop on Saturday, April 7 from 9 a.m. to Noon at Seastrand Park. Egg Drop is a free family-focused event that includes an Easter egg hunt after 25,000 empty Easter eggs fall from a helicopter onto Seastrand Park. Many child-friendly activities will also be offered from bounce houses, face painting, balloons and more.

The goal of Egg Drop, hosted by Grace Point Church, is to bring our community together, provide free activities and offer local businesses a means to connect with the people of North Las Vegas.

Egg Drop is open to children ages walking to 12 years old and is completely free. Bring your friends, neighbors and children to a one-of-a-kind Easter event for the whole family.

Pre-registration will be available online on Wednesday, February 15.

  1. What is Egg Drop?
    Egg Drop is the largest Easter Egg Hunt in the Las Vegas valley. Eggs will be dropped from a helicopter onto fields where children can collect them and exchange for candy. The Egg Drop will be held at Seastrand Park located in North Las Vegas on Saturday, April 7.

  2. What is the purpose of Egg Drop?
    The purpose of Egg Drop is to provide a free community event to the city that will connect our citizens, businesses and families together in a fun-filled environment. Although this event is hosted Grace Point Church, the goal is for this event to bring our community together, provide a free activities, and offer local businesses a platform for recognition.

  3. How do I register?
    You can register online from Wednesday, Feb. 15 to Friday, March 23. You can also register the day-of the event starting at 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 7. Pre-registered participants are guaranteed a goodie bag and can pick up wristbands and other important information prior to April 7.

  4. What should I bring to Egg Drop?
    You may want to consider bringing the following items: a basket/bucket for collecting eggs, water, sunscreen, pre-registration confirmation e-mail, I.D. Various vendors with businesses in Las Vegas will be selling beverages and food items.

  5. What should I NOT bring to Egg Drop?
    We will not permit the following items inside the gates: pets (excluding service animals), weapons, alcohol, outside food, any illegal substances. Adults without children will not be able to enter the event. Grace Point Church reserves the right to refuse entrance.

  6. What should I expect if it is my first time attending Egg Drop?
    We are anticipating thousands of people attending the event, so please expect to do some waiting. This is a free event and is open to the public. Expect large crowds. Please keep your child with you at all times and consider discussing a plan if the child happens to get separated from you. Also, expect to have a good time! We will have live music, games and crafts for kids, bounce houses and great giveaways.

  7. What time will the egg drop occur?
    The actual Egg Drop will begin at 10:45 a.m.
